Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic discussed concrete steps to strengthen economic ties between Montenegro and Egypt with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

The meeting covered trade, investment, maritime transport and tourism. It was noted that the memorandum of understanding signed between the Port Authority of Montenegro and the Port Authority of Alexandria would create new opportunities for cooperation between the ports and the economies of the two countries.

Milatovic expressed his expectation that the economic cooperation and tourism agreements would be signed as soon as possible, emphasizing that political understandings should be translated into new investments, stronger trade relations and concrete business projects.
