Strategic Partnership between Canada and Sweden Begins
Stockholm, 18 November (Hibya) – Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced the launch of a comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Canada and Sweden.
Prime Minister Kristersson announced that the Canada–Sweden Strategic Partnership has been officially initiated.
He stated that this marks the beginning of a new and exciting phase in the relations between the two countries, adding: “Canada and Sweden are transatlantic partners, NATO allies, and like-minded Arctic nations.”
Kristersson noted that with the new partnership, cooperation in security, defense, trade, Arctic affairs, innovation, climate, and energy will be further deepened.
