Finnish President Alexander Stubb said his country stands in full solidarity with its ally Germany following Russia’s hybrid attack in Leipzig.

Stubb said Russia’s approach is well known, stating that Moscow is trying to intimidate them and undermine their determination and will to support Ukraine in its defensive struggle against Russia’s occupation.

Emphasizing that these attempts will not succeed, Stubb said they stand united against all attempts to attack their freedom and security.

Stubb also pointed to the strong measures announced by the German government, saying they respond to Russia’s actions with clear determination regardless of which country is targeted.

Emphasizing that their support for Ukraine will continue, Stubb said their commitment to supporting Ukraine in its defensive struggle against Russian aggression is unwavering.

Stubb also said he remains in close contact with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other allies.
