Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis discusses political transition in Serbia
Belgrade, November 5 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis held a series of meetings in Belgrade following Serbia's parliamentary elections. Ten days after the elections, Cassis met separately with newly elected members of parliament from the "Student List" and Serbia's Acting Speaker of Parliament, Ana Brnabić.

The discussions focused on the importance of ensuring an orderly political transition in the country. Cassis stated that the meetings included assessments of how to ensure the political transition proceeds smoothly and effectively.
Cassis noted that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) stands ready to support Serbia throughout this process. He emphasized that the organization's extensive experience and expertise could contribute to the transition.
