Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed his satisfaction at participating, together with Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, in the online G7+ Energy Group meeting.

Noting that the meeting once again confirmed the firm international support for Ukraine’s energy resilience, Sybiha said: “In the face of Russia’s intense attacks, our partners are standing by us by helping to protect, repair and strengthen our energy system.”

Sybiha emphasized that additional air defense systems are of critical importance for protecting energy infrastructure, adding:

“Every additional air defense system provided, every missile or every investment in our equipment directly contributes to our energy security. I am grateful to all our partners for today’s strong statements and for their continued support for Ukraine.”
