Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha made a statement regarding Australia’s support for Ukraine.

Sybiha thanked Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong for her personal support for Ukraine, noting that Australia provides military, energy and humanitarian assistance, supports strong sanctions against Russia and has joined the Maritime Capability Coalition for Ukraine.

Sybiha said the Ukraine-Australia Bilateral Security Agreement opens a new chapter in the partnership between the two countries, adding that the agreement provides a strong foundation for deepening cooperation in security and defense.

Sybiha said that, together with the newly announced assistance, this support strengthens Ukraine today and invests in shared security for the future.
