Sybiha: Ukraine stands united and determined against the war
Kyiv, December 1 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that Ukraine remains united and determined in the face of Russia’s large-scale war.
Foreign Minister Sybiha recalled that on this day in 1991, more than 90% of Ukrainians chose independence: “In all regions – including the east and Crimea – a clear majority of people said ‘Yes’ to approving Ukraine’s Declaration of Independence.”
He stated that this was a long-awaited choice to live in a free, independent, and sovereign state. “Today, Ukraine stands united and determined against Russia’s full-scale war. Our commitment to defending our homeland, safeguarding our freedom, and protecting our people remains steadfast.”
Sybiha added that they are grateful for the continuous support of their partners as they work together to restore a just peace and stability in Ukraine and in the entire rules-based international order.
