Witkoff is expected to travel to Moscow this week, together with several individuals including the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, to meet with Russian representatives as part of efforts to advance the peace process between Russia and Ukraine.

The visit will take place following today’s meeting in Florida, where Witkoff, together with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, met with the Ukrainian delegation for new discussions on the course of the conflict.

Rubio said the talks were described as constructive, but that several important issues were still being discussed before the next step.
