Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani made a statement regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East and ongoing diplomatic activity.

Sharing the schedule and purpose of his visit to Lebanon, Tajani said: "Next Monday, I will be in Lebanon to express the Italian Government's solidarity and closeness to President Aoun and to all the Lebanese people who are suffering greatly because of the bombings."

Drawing attention to civilian deaths, Tajani stated: "As in Gaza, we do not want the civilian population to once again be the ones who have to pay the price. This will also be an opportunity to send greetings to our soldiers serving for peace and stability."

Outlining the diplomatic framework of the visit, Tajani included the following remarks in his statement:

"This is a visit aimed at encouraging and supporting the direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel announced today. Italy, by taking a leading role in this new phase of dialogue in the Middle East, will also aim to prevent the escalation of the conflict in the region and put an end to Hezbollah's terrorist acts."
