Trump: I hope we will not have to go to war
Washington, May 19 (Hibya) - United States President Donald Trump, referring to the tensions with Iran, said that he hopes they will not have to go to war, but that they may have to deliver another strike, adding that this will become clear very soon.
United States President Donald Trump made statements in response to a reporter’s question regarding preparations for an operation against Iran and the military activity between the two countries.
Pointing to possible military steps against Iran and the uncertainty surrounding the situation, Trump said, “I hope we will not have to go to war, but we may have to deliver another strike against them. I am not sure yet. You will know very soon.”
Responding to a reporter’s question, “How close were you to attacking Iran?”, President Trump concluded his remarks by saying, “I was one hour away. Everything was ready, it would be happening right now.”
