Washington, May 10 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump made a statement saying that federal institutions should purchase only American-made products. The same post also included remarks regarding the election process and several Democratic Party figures.
Trump stated on his social media account that federal institutions should prioritize products manufactured in the United States. Trump said that new regulations against the purchase of foreign-made products under current practices had been strengthened and exemptions had been limited.
The statement emphasized that American workers, manufacturing facilities, and supply chains should be prioritized, noting that steps were being taken within the framework of the “Buy American” policy.
