Trump praises Republicans and border security
Washington, April 2 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald J. Trump thanked Republican members of Congress and border security personnel, while criticizing Democrats over their open border policy.
In a post on his Twitter account, U.S. President Donald J. Trump said, “I thank all our great Republican members of Congress for the work they have done this week, as well as Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senate Leader John Thune.”
Trump stated that Republicans are working on a plan to restore funding for border patrol and immigration enforcement officers. He criticized Democrats as being “fully and 100 percent committed to the radical left policy of Open Borders and Zero Immigration Enforcement.”
He also announced that he would soon sign an order to pay the salaries of Department of Homeland Security employees, expressing support for the efforts of public officials to protect the country.
