Kyiv, May 8 (Hibya) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that Russia must be forced into a just peace.

The statement read:
"The past is not behind us — it is repeating before our eyes. During World War II, millions of Ukrainians lost their lives. Now, Russia once again brings war, destruction, and death. Today, Ukraine joins the world in remembering the millions of victims of World War II. At the same time, we remind: remembrance means responsibility. Russia must be forced into a just peace."
