Ukrainian President Zelensky met with French President Macron
Kyiv, September 3 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that during today’s talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, they defined their positions ahead of tomorrow’s meeting of the Willing Leaders’ Coalition.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared details of today’s talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in his statement. He noted that they defined their positions ahead of tomorrow’s meeting of the Willing Leaders’ Coalition and added:
“We discussed preparatory work regarding security guarantees. I believe our efforts will provide strong security guarantees for Ukraine. We are all working together on this.
We also discussed defensive support for Ukraine, addressing current needs, strengthening sanctions against Russia, and options for using frozen Russian assets. Our path toward the European Union was given special attention. We appreciate France’s support in this regard.”
