Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) issued a statement regarding its field activities in Lebanon.

UNESCO reported that it supports 1.6 million students in the country, strengthens the protection of cultural heritage sites, and combats disinformation through awareness campaigns.

The statement noted that approximately 500,000 children are unable to attend school due to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, that some heritage sites have been damaged, and that journalists have lost their lives.

The organization stressed the importance of combating the growing spread of disinformation.
