UNRWA launches vaccination campaign for children in Gaza
New York, November 11 (Hibya) – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, announced that they are supporting a campaign aimed at ensuring thousands of children in Gaza have access to life-saving vaccines.
In a post on social media, Lazzarini stated: “Our UNRWA health teams in Gaza are supporting this campaign to reach tens of thousands of children who missed their vaccinations.”
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini thanked partner organizations providing vaccine supplies and cold-chain support, saying: “We are in this effort together; together, we are stronger.”
The campaign aims to enable children in Gaza, who have limited access to health services, to benefit from the basic immunization program.
