UNRWA: Ready to provide large-scale humanitarian aid in Gaza
New York, June 7 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that it remains committed to its mission and, along with other UN agencies, is ready to provide large-scale humanitarian aid in Gaza.
In its statement, UNRWA noted that it had repeatedly requested cooperation and evidence from Israel regarding serious allegations against the agency.
After 20 months, UNRWA said it had received no response, and the Israeli government had not provided sufficient evidence.
“UNRWA remains committed to its mission and is ready, along with other UN agencies, to provide large-scale humanitarian aid in Gaza.”
