US sends team to Jamaica for post-hurricane relief
Washington, October 31 (Hibya) – The US Department of State announced that the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) has arrived in Jamaica to coordinate humanitarian aid following Hurricane Melissa.
The Department of State stated that efforts continue to support those affected by Hurricane Melissa’s devastation in Jamaica.
The Ministry added that the DART team has arrived in the country to coordinate humanitarian operations and that the United States is working closely with the Jamaican government and local partners to deliver aid to the most affected areas.
