Victory Day message from Czech President Pavel
Prague, May 6 (Hibya) - Czech President Petr Pavel met with war veterans and their relatives ahead of the upcoming Victory Day. Pavel drew attention to the sacrifices made by veterans during difficult times.
In his statement, Pavel said, “In difficult times, they showed courage, responsibility, and determination to stand up for our country. We deeply appreciate their service.” He also emphasized that the value of the period of peace should not be forgotten, adding, “Thanks to them, we should not forget what happened before the period of peace that we often take for granted today.”
