Umerov: Talks between the Ukrainian delegation and the American side have begun
Washington, November 30 (Hibya) – Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, announced that talks have begun between the Ukrainian delegation and the American side regarding steps toward a just peace.
In his statement, Umerov said: “Talks between the Ukrainian delegation and the American side regarding steps toward a just peace have begun in the United States.”
He noted that he is in constant contact with the President of Ukraine, adding that he has clear directives and priorities:
“To protect Ukraine’s interests, ensure concrete dialogue, and move forward based on the progress achieved in Geneva.
We are working to secure real peace for Ukraine and reliable, long-term security guarantees. The delegation will report to the President of Ukraine after today’s meetings.”
