Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Yermak stated that under President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “Bring Kids Back” initiative, a group of Ukrainian children and youth from the Novopetrivska Special School in the Mykolaiv region successfully returned to Ukraine.

He noted that during the occupation of part of the Mykolaiv region by Russian forces in 2022, orphans and parentless children remaining at the school were forcibly taken to Russia. The school principal did everything possible to protect the children from the occupiers, but Russian soldiers arrived with threats, taking the children first by military vehicles to the left bank of Kherson and later by train through occupied Crimea to Russia.

Yermak thanked the Ombudsman’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and international partners for their assistance in the children’s return, saying: “After a long journey, these children are finally home, in Ukraine.”

It was reported that the returned children will undergo a reintegration process and continue their education in Ukrainian schools.
