Yermak continues his engagements in Switzerland
Bern, November 7 (Hibya) - Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, visited Switzerland for a series of official meetings.
During his visit to Switzerland, Yermak met with Gabriel Lüchinger, Director of the International Security Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and Guy Parmelin, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation and Minister of Economy.
The discussions focused on the current situation at the front, international efforts to push Russia toward peace negotiations, and bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Yermak stated, “We are grateful to Switzerland for its readiness to support the achievement of lasting peace in Europe. By hosting the Global Peace Summit in 2024, we already have valuable experience in such cooperation.”
Yermak also thanked Switzerland for the approximately $1.5 billion in humanitarian and financial aid provided since the start of the war, and urged strengthening joint efforts to bring back Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
