Zakharova: We are ready to work to strengthen the UN’s global role
Moscow, October 24 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued a statement on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
In her statement marking the UN’s 80th anniversary, Zakharova said that Russia is determined to work to strengthen the organization’s central and coordinating role in international relations.
In a social media post, Zakharova wrote, “Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the UN. Russia stands ready to continue working actively to fully restore the UN’s central role in world affairs.”
