Kyiv, 20 November (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski reported that rescue teams worked throughout the night in Ternopil and that search and rescue operations are continuing.
Zelenski stated that rescue crews worked through the night in Ternopil and that 22 people remain missing, with efforts to locate them ongoing.
Sharing details about the operations, Zelenski said:
“In some areas, due to severe structural damage and collapses, work can only be carried out manually, which complicates the search efforts. At present, the deaths of 26 people, including three children, have been confirmed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.”
