Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski announced that interceptors developed against jet-powered “Shahed” unmanned aerial vehicles had passed combat tests.

Zelenski said at a press conference with C8 leaders that interceptors developed by two companies had been tested in the field. He said the systems had destroyed “Shaheds” moving at high speed.

Zelenski said they wanted to see the full test results and determine how the systems could be scaled up for serial production, adding that talks with the relevant companies were continuing and contracts had begun to be signed.

Zelenski said, “I see this as a success. Even these two examples give us optimism, a positive outlook and confidence.”

Zelenski also said funding was needed to develop defense systems and increase production.

In this context, Zelenski said he had spoken with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and that they would meet again in the near future.

Zelenski said proposals were being prepared on how to close the funding gap and that there were promising developments in this regard.
