Zelensky said work to repair the damage was continuing in Kyiv and its surroundings, as well as in several other regions, following Russian attacks. He said ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and jet-powered Shahed drones were used in the attack.

Zelensky said significant damage was caused to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, adding that 10 people had been injured so far and that everyone requiring medical assistance was receiving treatment. He said teams from Ukraine's State Emergency Service had rescued 13 people, while 2 people had been killed, and offered condolences to their families.

Zelensky said critical infrastructure was struck in the Kyiv region, while a marketplace was hit in the Odesa region. He added that 2 people were injured in Kharkiv and an apartment building was damaged.

Zelensky said the locomotive of the Kyiv-Sumy train was attacked at a railway station in the Sumy region in the morning, adding that no one was injured and evacuation efforts were continuing. He also said the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions were targeted.

The Ukrainian President said Ukrainian forces shot down 175 aerial targets overnight, but that not all targets could be intercepted. Zelensky said that although successful results had been achieved against cruise missiles, intercepting ballistic missiles was particularly difficult, adding that Ukraine appeals to its partners every day for the interceptors it needs.

Zelensky said discussions had been held with the United States and European countries on the issue and that new talks would take place today with representatives of countries and companies that could assist with supplies. He added that discussions were also continuing on Ukraine's FREYJA system against ballistic missiles.

Zelensky thanked all partners who prioritize support for Ukraine's air defense, saying that such support directly means saving lives.
