Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that an additional budget has been allocated for educational institutions protecting student communities.

Zelensky said: "Today, a government decision was made to support universities located on the front line and in border regions — Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv. An additional budget has been allocated for institutions that protect student communities and continue providing education despite all difficulties. I also signed a decree today regarding the Shevchenko Award. Starting next year, in addition to the traditional categories, the award will also be given in the field of Ukrainian photography. It is extremely important now to document all the emotions and heroism of our people."
