Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had met with Speaker of the Danish Parliament Søren Gade. Zelensky thanked Denmark for its strong and consistent support for Ukraine.

Zelensky also expressed his gratitude for the condolences conveyed for those killed in Russian attacks, stating that the attacks represented an escalation and that maintaining the focus on support for Ukraine was important.

Zelensky highlighted the importance of financial contributions to Ukraine’s defense production and direct defense assistance, particularly air defense systems against jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles. He also said that joint work with Denmark under the European SAFE mechanism could contribute to strengthening shared security.
