Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that France’s support is of special significance for Ukraine. He expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron and his team for their attention to the Ukrainian people and their willingness to help.

Zelensky added:

“Our meeting today was concise and meaningful; it focused primarily on steps that will bring us closer to a just peace. Now, we need actions that can truly change the course of the war and lead it to a just peace – to a real ending that we need. And it is important that all partners who can sincerely help do so.”
