In his daily briefing, President Zelensky stated that Russia’s attacks in the border regions and along the front line are ongoing. It was reported that 470 attack drones were used in Kherson over the past 24 hours, and while most of them were neutralized, some targets were hit.

In the Bohodukhiv region of Kharkiv, a Russian drone directly hit a residential building; two boys aged two, a girl aged one, and their father lost their lives. The mother is under treatment in the hospital.

Zelensky mentioned that gas infrastructure is being repaired in Donetsk, while attacks on electricity infrastructure continue in the Dnipro region. In Zaporizhzhia, some areas are experiencing power outages, and restoration work is ongoing. Zelensky emphasized that security issues are a priority, and diplomatic efforts will only gain trust in society if security is ensured on the ground.

The President instructed the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, the Ministries of Defense and Energy, and local authorities to develop concrete measures to strengthen infrastructure protection. He also instructed the government to ensure the full implementation of the heating package program in the Poltava region. Zelensky thanked the repair and energy teams in central and western Ukraine, as well as in the capital, Kyiv.
