Zelensky: Strengthening air defense is the top priority of the Ramstein talks
Kyiv, September 8 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that during his staff meeting, technological issues were the main focus.
Zelensky said that Russia was once again targeting energy infrastructure and emphasized that Ukraine was prepared to respond. However, he stressed that the main priority was to maintain the stability of the energy system.
He also announced that, together with Ukraine’s Defense Minister, they had set the main objectives for the upcoming Ramstein Defense Contact Group meeting. Strengthening air defense systems emerged as the number one priority on the Ramstein agenda.
President Zelensky added that this issue also remained a priority in contacts with Europe and the United States, stating: “The Ukrainian army must be strong, and it will be strong.”
