Zelensky: Today Ukraine and Azerbaijan signed 6 documents in various fields
Baku, April 25 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Azerbaijan.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about cooperation agreements signed between the two countries in various fields, particularly defense and energy.
Emphasizing the depth of diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan, Zelensky said: "This is our first visit to Azerbaijan and our seventh meeting in more than four years. Our relations are at a very high level, and what matters is that they are based on respect."
Referring to the documents signed during the visit and priority areas of cooperation, Zelensky stated: "Today Ukraine and Azerbaijan signed 6 documents in various fields. The key point is the defense industry complex – we will develop and strengthen our cooperation."
Zelensky added: "We also discussed the continuation of energy initiatives and the launch of new ones."
