Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he met with Yevhenii Khmara and Pavlo Palisa, together with the commanders of the 9th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th and 21st Army Corps and the 30th Marine Corps.

Zelensky said, "Together with Yevhenii Khmara and Pavlo Palisa, we continue discussing with our army corps commanders the most urgent frontline needs, the defense of border regions, and their assessments of the details of Ukraine's defense strategy."

"The commanders reported on the situation in their areas of responsibility, the activities of the Russian army, the enemy's plans, and our capacity to counter them. I thank them for their proposals," Zelensky said.

Zelensky noted that the meeting also covered the defense of Kherson and the situation in cities and settlements in the Dnipro region, particularly Nikopol. "Our key priorities are countering Russian drones, protecting our people, and ensuring the additional supplies that are needed," he said.

Zelensky added that they also received updates on preparations for various scenarios along the Chernihiv-Kyiv axis. "We assessed the need to strengthen air defense along the frontline in response to Russia's efforts to prolong and expand the war, as well as the decisions required to continue the corps reform. Thank you for your service," he said.
