Zelensky’s message on the Day of Ukrainian Language and Literature
Kyiv, October 27 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his message marking the Day of Ukrainian Language and Literature, thanked all those who preserve and teach the Ukrainian language.
In his message, Zelensky said: “Today it is important to express special gratitude to our people who, despite everything and wherever they are, continue to teach our language. We are grateful to all parents who speak Ukrainian with their children, to all teachers who open to children the limitless world of Ukrainian culture, and to all who preserve Ukrainian heritage both here and abroad.”
Zelensky added: “We remember that being Ukrainian means being brave. There are many nations in the world, but only the brave have managed to defend their independence. Ukrainians are precisely such a people,” concluding his message with the words: “Glory to Ukraine!”
