Ahmed Shara to visit Moscow on Wednesday
Moscow, January 27 (Hibya) – According to Syrian television, Syria’s interim President Ahmed Shara will visit Moscow on Wednesday to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The statement said: “Syrian President Ahmed Shara will visit Moscow on Wednesday and meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.”
The Syrian leader last visited Moscow in mid-October. At that time, Putin and Shara discussed bilateral relations. This meeting marked the first high-level contact between Russia and Syria since the change of power in the Arab Republic.
