Costa highlights stronger partnership between the EU and India
Brussels, Jan. 27 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa emphasized shared values and global cooperation ahead of the upcoming summit between the European Union (EU) and India.
Addressing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Costa said, “Thank you, Mr. Prime Minister, for the warm welcome.”
Regarding the EU–India summit, Costa stated, “I look forward to a stronger partnership and a productive summit between the European Union and India, based on shared values and an expanding vision.”
Referring to the goals of the summit, Costa added, “Today, we aim to deliver tangible benefits for our citizens, work together for our shared prosperity and security, and demonstrate leadership on global issues to shape a resilient, multipolar global order.”
