Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with Okubo Takeshi, Special Advisor to the Japanese Foreign Minister and Ambassador responsible for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, who is visiting Qatar.

During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed, along with the latest developments in the region, particularly those related to the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

Al Khulaifi stressed the importance of coordinated efforts at both the regional and global levels to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, noting that this would pave the way for sustainable peace and the desired stability in the region.
