According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud.

During the conversation, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them.

The parties also reviewed the latest regional developments. In particular, they exchanged views on diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
