Al Thani met with his Turkmen counterpart
Doha, September 15 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks with Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Rashid Meredov.
Al Thani met Meredov on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha.
The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to support and strengthen it, as well as regional developments, particularly the Israeli attack that targeted Doha.
Al Thani affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and sovereignty in the face of Israel’s blatant aggression.
Meredov, for his part, stated that his country stands in solidarity with the State of Qatar, adding that the Israeli attack violates Qatar’s sovereignty and international law.
