Fiala: Government invested 500 billion crowns in transport infrastructure
Prague, September 15 (Hibya) – Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that the government has invested 500 billion crowns in transport infrastructure.
Fiala noted that the D52 motorway from Brno to Vienna is now very close to realization, announcing that today they presented the final solution for the most challenging section along the reservoir near Nové Mlýny.
He stated that the last major obstacle had been overcome and construction could begin: “Construction will start within two years and be completed in 2032. For hundreds of thousands of people, the motorway will mean a shorter, more comfortable and safer journey to Vienna and South Moravia.”
Fiala added that the government has invested 500 billion crowns in transport infrastructure: “During this electoral term, we will open more than 200 km of new motorways and prepare others, to complete by 2033 the important connection that South Moravia deserves.”
