Albanese emphasized that the AUKUS partnership is not merely a plan for the future but is already delivering tangible results for Australia’s economy and defense sector.
During his visit to the HMAS Stirling Naval Base in Western Australia, he noted that thousands of highly skilled and well-paid jobs are being created under AUKUS. “AUKUS is not a project for a distant future; it is here, now, with real people, real training, and real jobs,” he said.
He added that the project strengthens Australia’s defense capacity, reinforces national security, and drives significant transformation in the local workforce in advanced technology fields.
