Albares: More than 175 Spaniards are flying from Abu Dhabi to Madrid on a commercial flight
Madrid, March 3 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, announced that efforts are ongoing to evacuate Spanish citizens located in crisis areas in the Middle East.
Minister Jose Manuel Albares shared the latest update regarding the safety of Spanish citizens stranded or wishing to return home due to rising tensions in the region.
Providing details about the operation, Albares said: “Efforts to evacuate Spaniards located in various countries in the region are currently ongoing. At this moment, more than 175 Spaniards are flying from Abu Dhabi to Madrid on a commercial flight.”
Emphasizing that further information will be provided, Albares added: “We will inform you once these efforts have been successfully completed.”
