Aliyev met with Bulgarian President Yotova
Munich, 14 February (Hibya) – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Munich with Bulgarian President Iliana Yotova. Cultural cooperation, energy, agriculture and relations within the framework of international organizations were discussed at the meeting.
On 14 February in Munich, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Iliana Yotova.
During the meeting, Iliana Yotova recalled that she had participated in the Intercultural Dialogue Forum held in Azerbaijan and had the opportunity to closely get to know the country’s culture; she noted that the traditions of Novruz and the art of mugham had left a deep impression on her.
Iliana Yotova also thanked President Aliyev for the teaching of the Bulgarian language in higher education institutions in Azerbaijan and for the interest shown in Bulgarian culture.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the cooperation agreement signed a few days ago between the Government of Azerbaijan, the Government of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo regarding the establishment and construction of the “Shusha” Park in the city of Veliko Tarnovo.
