Aliyev: We will show the whole world that we are a fighting nation
Baku, May 9 (Hibya) – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of the victory achieved in securing the country’s territorial integrity and highlighted the need to pass on this success and national spirit to future generations.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that the Azerbaijani people possess both the will to build and create, and the determination to defend their homeland, emphasizing the historic significance of the victory achieved.
Expressing Azerbaijan's determination, Aliyev said, “In addition to being a nation that builds and creates, we will show the whole world that we are also a fighting nation. We reclaimed these lands by shedding blood – may God have mercy on all our martyrs – and we achieved a magnificent victory.”
Referring to the scale of the victory, Aliyev stated, “There is no equivalent to this victory in modern history, and there probably never will be. We should be proud of this eternal victory.”
Aliyev also stressed that future generations should be raised with this awareness, saying, “The younger generation must be educated with this spirit in their homes, families, and schools so that from now on we may proudly live as a victorious nation and people.”
