Anand: Canada stands in solidarity with the Gulf countries
Ottawa, July 12 (Hibya) - Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand announced that Canada stands in solidarity with the Gulf countries in response to Iran's latest attacks against them.
Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand made statements regarding Iran's latest attacks on the Gulf countries.
Anand stated that the attacks violate the memorandum of understanding and jeopardize efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
Anand said, “The Strait of Hormuz is an international waterway. Iran's repeated attacks against vessels transiting the Strait constitute a violation of international law.”
