Following a comprehensive meeting attended by heads of mission, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand issued a statement regarding global trade partnerships and diplomatic efforts.

Highlighting Canada's global trade and diplomatic objectives, Anand said, “Canada’s Heads of Mission are in Ottawa! As we work to strengthen and diversify our trade partnerships, our Ambassadors and High Commissioners from around the world have come together for the first time in three years.”

Emphasizing the critical role played by diplomatic representatives, Anand concluded her statement by saying, “Thank you for your dedicated service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Canada.”
