Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi held a meeting with Azerbaijan's President Aliyev in Baku.

During the meeting, various bilateral issues were discussed, including the course of political interactions between the two countries, matters related to neighborly relations, and mechanisms for managing bilateral ties.

Highlighting the importance of a long-term approach in neighborly relations, Araghchi said: “It is necessary to continue diplomatic consultations to resolve disagreements and manage issues.”

President Aliyev stated: “I extend my greetings to Pezeşkian. The visit of Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi is a historic visit that contributes to strengthening understanding between the two countries.”
