Araghchi: Number of US aircraft shot down by Iran reaches 81
Tehran, October 8 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi claimed that the number of US military aircraft shot down by Iran's Armed Forces has reached 81.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated that the US Congressional Research Service acknowledged in May that Iran's Armed Forces had shot down 42 US military aircraft.
Araghchi claimed that the figure has now risen to 81 and that the actual losses are much higher. He argued that US Central Command (CENTCOM), despite claiming that its bases were in good condition, had not allowed a sitting senator to inspect them, maintaining that this constituted evidence of the reported losses.
