Araghchi: The Ukrainian attack on an Iranian commercial vessel will not go unanswered
Tehran, July 26 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of being responsible for an attack on an Iranian commercial vessel, saying the incident would not go unanswered.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi alleged that Ukraine had carried out an attack on an Iranian commercial vessel, killing one sailor.
Araghchi claimed that the attack constituted a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and alleged that the action, directed by Israel, was intended to draw Europe into the war.
Araghchi said he had raised the issue during meetings with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, adding that the attack, which he alleged had been carried out by Ukraine, would not go unanswered.
