Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei made a statement regarding the stance shown toward Iran by peoples, political movements, and civil society organizations in the Maghreb and North Africa.

Emphasizing the importance of support from the region, Baqaei stated:

“The extraordinary support shown to the Iranian people by the peoples of the Maghreb and North African countries, political movements and parties, civil society organizations, influential elites, high-level figures, and free individuals in the face of the war imposed by the United States and the occupying Israeli entity, as well as the sincere messages filled with a sense of responsibility condemning this brutal military aggression over the past thirty-four days, deserve the highest appreciation. Iranians will engrave this solidarity and cooperation in their collective memory forever.”

Saluting the historical stance of the peoples of these countries, Baqaei said: “We respectfully salute the living and conscious conscience of our brothers in these countries, who carry a bright legacy and a shining history in fighting injustice, resisting arrogance, aggression, and occupation, and defending the oppressed, especially the Palestinian people.”

Baqaei concluded his statement by saying: “They have succeeded throughout the ages in clearly distinguishing between right and wrong, and we warmly shake their hands as a sign of brotherhood, unity, and appreciation.”
